Camilo Galvis

Chief Executive / Chief Investment Officer

Camilo Galvis is CEO/CIO and co-founder of Imperative Advisors. Camilo is also a research associate with the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Columbia University in New York City. He is an Economist from the University of Los Andes in Colombia and the University of Sydney in Australia and holds a Master of Science degree from Columbia University in Operations Research and Applied Mathematics to Finance.

Houda El Anzaoui

Director of Risk Management and Asset Allocation

Houda El Anzaoui oversees Risk Management and Asset Allocation at Imperative. Ms. El Anzaoui received a Master of Engineering (Diplôme d’Ingénieur) from Ecole Polytechnique and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from ENSAE Paris.

Bryan Achtyl

Chief Technology Officer

Bryan Achtyl is the Chief Technology Officer at Imperative and oversees all aspects of technology and engineering processes. Prior to joining Imperative in 2016, Bryan led software development and data science for various media and consulting firms in New York City. Bryan holds a Master of Engineering degree from Columbia University in Operations Research and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Cornell University.

Rodrigo Lozano

Director of Finance

Rodrigo Lozano is the Director of Finance at Imperative Advisors since 2015, with 15+ years of experience in Business and Finance. Rodrigo holds a MS in Finance from Florida International University as well as a MA in Finance Administration from PRIME Business School in Bogotá – Colombia.

Beatriz Cruz

Director of Accounting

Beatriz Cruz began her career as an accountant in 1998 and is Imperative Advisors’ Financial Controller since its inception in 2015, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting and the issuance of full financial statements. Beatriz graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Accounting degree.
